Can you please give me advice on what meat is good and bad for these dogs.
I have been told that cooked turkey is poisonous, and im not sure about red meat.
I know not to give chocolate, raisons, grapes etc, but not sure about meat.
He is fed a dry food, but i do like to add the occasional slice of meat - he does like chicken.
Any advice much appreciated. [/i] |

Turkey is OK, if you look at the lower fat kibbles most are chicken or turkey. Beef is fine but in moderation for Dalmatians. Most dog treats from the supermarkets are chicken or beef. _________________ Sandie aka Donothing

all meat is OK for dogs, but feeding it them raw gives them more nutrients etc as cooking it just takes the goodness they need out of it. My 2 love raw turkey _________________ Gill with my beautiful boy Logan & gorgeous girl Piper xxx

| Offal is bad for dalmatians, and other breeds should only have it is small quantities because it can cause terrible squits! |

| Like any processed food, ham is salty, so should only be given as a titbit. |

I found out recently that Macadamia nuts are not good treats for dogs. They're highly toxic in fact.
Luckily I discovered this before giving my cheerily self destructive pooch more than 2 or 3. |
