Hiya All
Don't know if anyone is interested or not, but here's a chance to learn Smile
There is a First Aid Course for Dogs, Cats & Small animals being run on 16th November.

Details are:
Goosnargh Village Hall
Preston
Lancs
9:30am to 4:30pm
Course tutor : Helen Clarke (Head Vet at Myerscough College)
Topics covered include:
Ill Health, When to call a vet, Transporting injured animals, Bandaging, Haemorrhage & Wounds, Stings & Bites, Poisoning, Heatstroke/Hypothermia, Stroke, Fractures, Fits, Cardiac arrest/Resuscitation & much more !!!
Cost is 40 including Tea/Coffee & Lunch

Numbers are limited !!! So please book early.

These courses are not run often for the general public, so this is a real chance to learn something that may save your own or someone else dog !!!

These courses are not run often for the general public, so this is a real chance to learn something that may save your own or someone else dog !!!

I did one of these courses a few years ago. They're really worthwhile and we came away with lots of sample bandages etc.

I would love to do that, how do I find out about one in my area of Scotland. Should I ask the vet??

Sorry I don't know if the courses are run anywhere else Sad
However, I would have thought that your local Vet or Training Club may know if courses are run near you, or, perhaps even arrange one if there is enough interest?
