Bradley Wiggins that is. I threw myself off my bike on Sunday so now I have a broken collarbone too.
Mrs Fred has charitably let me off the ironing for the foreseeable.
Was in the post office with her yesterday and the lady behind the counter looked at my sling and said witheringly to my good lady "did he do that washing up?" six words which proved finally to me that women are indeed united in some sort of coven

I hope that George and Millie aren't suffering as a result of your thoughtlessness. You must smile through the pain to make sure they get their exercise Laughing Laughing Laughing

Seriously all the best and take care, hope you are better very soon.

How careless and selfish of you injuring yourself just to get out of the ironing, I have to say you just cannot get a decent quality of men who can iron, and now we have one less....

Was Mrs Fred able to get any good photos of the accident?

On a serious note get better soon.

I'm sure both of you have some involvement with the medical profession, perhaps it's the dark humour we hear about in that way of life. It doesn't sound like sympathy anyway.
I am fine, just really unsure of what I should or should not be doing

Details please. Why did you throw yourself from bike? Was it something Mrs F22 said? I hope no dalmatians were involved in the making of this accident.

I hope you are better soon as I would not want Mrs F22 to injure herself ironing Laughing Laughing

Ouch Dave, Not good Crying or Very sad

I came off my bike on Thursday too, doing a red mountain bike run at Cannock Chase. Luckily nothing broken, but I do have bruises in places I didn't know existed, my collar bone being one which is killing me, so feel for you it being broken! I ended up flying pelvis first into a huge boulder at about 25 mph and that hurt!

My first thoughts too, and I dont know is the answer; it looked all right when I dumped it in my Mum's garage, albeit with a buckled front wheel and torn handlebar tape. (Just serviced etc last week at the shop Crying or Very sad )

Glad you are feeling better and normal ironing skills will soon be resumed. Perhaps you could talk to Mr Kisscass about the bike as I believe he is only prevented from having a more expensive bike by Mrs KissCass and Cassie selfishly wanting to have lives! Laughing Laughing
