Well it's official, we're the laughing stock of the training classes.
We're now at an excellent dog school on Monday evenings with only around 8 other dogs. Now that Scrubs has well and truly hit adolescence, he's pushing boundaries as much as he can.
It's not helped by the fact my mother gives into him.

Anyway, the trainer put a new style Halti on him. Well he was not happy and decided to sulk for the entire hour! I have never seen Scrubs sulk. He lay on the floor with his head down and refused to participate in any activities. (He wouldn't even look at my mum).

At the end of each session there is a little bit of agility, running through a tunnel and jumping through a hoop. Every dog did it perfectly. Scrubs meandered through the tunnel then when it got to the hoop, lay down and refused to move, much to everyone's delight and the room irrupted in laughter.

Needless to say, he is no longer my dog, I don't know him, he isn't with us Wink

Laughing Laughing The first chapter of the well known dalmatian handbook 'Training your Human' is devoted to various ways in which a dalmatian can bring his human into line by publicly humiliating said human. Scrubs, being a bright little chap, is now working on some of the more advanced themes!

You are quite lucky, you can pretend he is your mother's dog!

haha the awful memories of embarrassing training classes, god I know that well Laughing Persevere, it does come good in the end I promise.

I personally would bin the halti too, even the naughtiest of dals (my Logan) walk beautifully on a lead, even if it did feel like it took 10 years to get there Rolling Eyes
