North of England Dalmatian Club 2008 Judged by Naomi Forrest
First of all, may I thank the officers and committee for making my day a very memorable and enjoyable experience. Very special thanks also to my ring stewards, Sue Cooke and Ian Tillson, whose invaluable help and efficiency meant that the only thing I had to worry about was my judging! Most importantly, thank you exhibitors for allowing me to go over your lovely dogs.
As seems to be so often the case at the moment, the bitches outnumbered the dogs quite considerably, and it was particularly disappointing to have so few puppy dogs to go over. There were, however, some difficult decisions to be made in many of the more well-filled classes and I was excited to see some very promising youngsters coming through from Junior and Post Graduate.
Tails continue to be of concern and there is certainly room for improvement on fronts and feet. Coats however were excellent and, almost without exception, your dogs were presented in sparkling condition. Temperaments too were absolutely delightful, with only one or two youngsters being a little overawed by the occasion.

1. Neath-Duggans' Tumbril True Blue Buffrey JW.
