8m l/w of surprising maturity of build and shape. Very pleasing proportions in outline. Strong round bone, good spring of pastern. Well angulated fore and aft. Smooth, balanced, controlled movement. BP
2. Adderley’s LEIAHART CHICAGO BEAR
8m well grown b/w. Bold spotting & presented in top condition. Sound overall conformation reflected in his rhythmic action on the move. Close up to 1.

1. Precious’ HOLDERNESS HENRY HIGGINS BY LUPIAC
8m b/w litter brother to MP winner, and exhibiting many of the same attributes. Good pigmentation and dark eye. Well boned, deep chest , tight cat feet. Holds his topline well on the move.
2. Coates’ BUFFRFEY THE SHADED SUN AT CUBALIBRE 11m densely pigmented b/w. Well angulated hindquarters, used to advantage. Well boned, deep chest, nice spring of rib and correct tail carriage.
3. Dodds & Pearson’s CAMARGUE EUROVISION

These two l/w dogs could change places so easily on another day, and quite probably still would have topped a larger class.
1. Willis’ CIBRITH COSWORTH Rich liver colour and in excellent condition. Nice head profile and attractive markings and expression. Much liked the balance of his proportions. Moved out and drove from behind, yet with minimal effort. Promising youngster.
2. Kays’ KAYTIAN ONE KOOL KAT JW Similar in many respects to 1. Evenly decorated and of excellent colour. Deep chest, defined brisket, level topline held on the move. Uses quarters to advantage

1. Lamb’s DALPETRO DETTORI
Balanced b/w of excellent pigmentation. Correct size, not overdone in any way. Nicely angulated with good bend of stifle. Sound and effortless movement of a carriage dog.
2. Whiting’s DALESBRED DJAMAICA AT CRAGVALLIE Boldly spotted b/w with tight coat, and presented in lovely condition. Outgoing personality and presenting a very attractive outline. Good tailset and carriage.
3. Smith’s DALMINSHI STARCLUSTER

Close decision between two quite different dogs.
1. Kembrey’s DALMARK THE SHOWSTORMER Intensely pigmented b/w with good eye, head and expression. Deep chest. Well angulated in fore- and hindquarters. Balanced and smooth action on the move, holding his topline, hind feet tracking the fore. An honest Dalmatian. Res CC
2. Smiths’ DALLEAF MULBERRY
Excellent colour l/w of even spotting. Admired him in the past from the ringside, and watched him maturing steadily. Superb temperament. Nice forequarter angulation and length of upper arm.

1. Moore’s CH. FINCHAM TRADE WIND JW
Upstanding b/w. Combines substance and balance without coarseness, and not overdone. Pleasing proportions with correct body length to height ratio. Deep chest to elbow. Strong round bone to forelegs with good layback of shoulder and return of upper arm. Drew the ground towards him and balanced that with drive from the rear. Effortless movement. CC
2. Bolt’s CH FAKENHAM FLASH GORDON
Well constructed l/w. Excellent bone, deep chest, prominent brisket. Good spring, length and depth of rib. Correct tail set and carriage. Outgoing male, at one with handler. Moved out and back positively.
3. Bliss’s CH RIVERDORE RAGS TO RICHES

1. Tingeys’ PHAELAND PHOENIX PHOREVER BY DALLYADOR
8m l/w with well distributed spotting, broken ears and kind expression. Good bone, plenty of substance for a youngster and capacious chest. When settled, moved positively with good reach and drive.
2. Clarke & Shears CHANDALLY CHARDONNAY Heavier spotted 8m b/w with particularly deep pigmentation. Nice neck and withers. Good spring of rib. Moved steadily.
3. Russells’ BYNTON ABIROSE AT DALYNRICS

1. Pages’ WINFLASH MAGIC MYSTERY
Only 9m, but this b/w stood out in this class. Compact bitch of good size, with very mature outline which emphasised her correct proportions. Deep chest, well angulated hindquarters used to advantage. Pushed hard for BP.
2. Clarke’s KLARKESON ROYAL DESTINY 11m b/w. Well distributed spotting on pure white ground. Presented in excellent condition. Typical expression. Hindquarter angulation complementing that of forequarters. Level topline and steady on the move.
3. Cliff & Hipkiss’ BOUTONNEUX BELLFLOWER

1. Wright’s ANGELIC APHRODITE FOR MILLBELLE
Attractive proportions viewed in profile. Good lay of shoulder. Deep chest to elbow and defined brisket. Well angulated hindquarters producing good drive from the rear when moving. At one with handler.
2. Polhill’s KYMVALE SAVANNAH Taller b/w, carrying a fraction of weight, but go beneath that and you find a bitch of sound conformation which is reflected in her positive movement. Excellent bone and substance.
3. Haywood & Ridgway’s LUCCOMBE HAZEL NUT CLUSTERS

1. Moore’s MANCHANDO CHOC CHIP COOKIE FROM FINCHAM
The more you dwell on this l/w, the more you appreciate her qualities and attributes. Combines femininity and elegance with substance and the power to perform the carriage dog role. Excellent balance of proportions from all angles and correct angulation of quarters. Simply flowed around the ring with a long relaxed stride, holding her head and topline to perfection. An absolute picture on the day. Easy decision for CC & BOB, which gives her title.
2. Lamb’s DALPETRO DESDEMONA JW B/w unfortunate to come up against 1, but justified her place with her sound movement. Nice eye, deep chest, good angulation. Relaxed stride, tracking correctly.
3. Williams’ PHADANTE TAKE A CHANCE ON ME

LB (11,1)

Class with depth of quality. A joy to judge, but sadly not enough cards.
1. Cuthbertsons’ KALSIDONI GARNET JW Elegant b/w of correct size. Dark eye complementing expression. Gently arched neck into defined withers. Good bone, nice spring of pastern and cat feet. Sound angulation, positive & balanced stride. RES CC
2. Storey-Taylor’s KESTEVEN RAINBOW CHASER JW
B/w I’ve long admired. Excellent depth of pigmentation and pure white ground. Strong bone. Attractive profile and balanced proportions. Excellent movement.
3. Baker’s DALLEAF JAPONICA JW

1. Pages CH WINFLASH SPRING ANGEL ShCM
Expertly handled and upstanding b/w of substance and quality throughout. Straight round bone in foreleg, good spring of pastern, and tight feet. Feminine head with correct stop. Good quarters. Moved with drive.
2. Neath-Duggan’s CH BUFFREY SPRIG O’ MINT .Elegant b/w. Attractive head and expression. Nicely broken ears. Clean arched neck to well laid shoulders and correct topline. Well bent stifles. Drives out well..
3. Forrest’s CHOOSESPOTS CAMELIA BY SPOTSWOOD
