Scottish Kennel Club 2004 Judged by Mr K Nathan
It has been a while since I judged the breed & I am sorry to say it has not significantly improved. Fronts are still bad, whole front assemblies placed too far forward, no forechests as a result, poor rear angulation & a distinct lack of muscletone. Heads have become big & coarse, lacking in forefece. Such a pity that this  noble & unique breed should have deteriorated in this fashion. It is up to breeders to breed for construction & type before spotting. My overall winners were of top quality & I was pleased to watch my BOB in the group, although not placed, she represents the best of all the Dalmatian attributes.
