Minor Puppy Dog (1)
1 Locke-McFadzean's Sassafras Berklium
just over 6 months and chock full of being important. Well balanced head with a decent length of muzzle, eyes bright and ready for anything, good reach of neck, well ribbed, level backline and well set tail. He has lovely hind angulation and in profile, once settled, he showed a balanced stride. Bit of a handful on the out and back, but should settle.

1 & BPD. Swift's Shacarlu Moonracer,
tall, all male fellow which needs firm handling to get the best out of him. I admired his type, his length/height proportions and his good head, the skull flat, enough stop and well filled foreface. He is well boned, has excellent feet and was spotless in coat and muscle tone. Would benefit from ringcraft lessons as he is so full of himself that he throws his front about when circling the ring.
2 Harrison-Stratford's Dalkereve Dark Dragon. Quite different to the winner, being that size smaller and much more compact in shape. Pleasing head, eyes and expression, excellent reach of neck, well boned with straight forelimbs and tight feet. I would like his ribcage to have carried back more and the loin to have been shorter Still uncollected on the move and is another which would benefit from ring training.
3 Todhunter & Robinson's Hillbelle Young Gun.

Junior Dog (3)
1 Alexander's Offordale Chevalier.
Classy black spotted fellow with an air of quality. Standing he does take the eye. Beautiful head, long neck, so well ribbed, supple loin and terrific hindquarters with excellent width in second thigh. He sparkled with condition and was a comfortable winner. I discounted him in the challenge as he was almost turbo charged as he went around the ring, losing his topline and throwing his forelegs about. I'm sure his time will come.
2 Roach's Holderness Henman Hill. Quite the opposite from the winner as he was composed and circled the ring showing an even, purposeful stride. He is a good size, well boned and ribbed, just about enough bend of stifle and he was in such hard, muscular condition. Pleasing head, just a bit strong in cheek for me and I would like a cleaner throat.
3 Alcock's Creaganbrec Face of Beau at Dalspartan.

Post Graduate Dog (5)
1 Munro's Tanstar Sea the Stars.
A rather nice black spotted chap with instant appeal in stance as he places his legs spot on, uses his well arched neck to advantage and he is blessed with a delightful head, eyes and expression. Well bodied, firm backline and well set and carried tail. His coat was immaculate and he circled the ring with a smooth, balanced stride
. 2 Williams' Phadante Brighton Rock big powerful chap, all male in outlook, lovely flat skull, well marked ears, excellent layback in shoulder. So well muscled and like the winner he shows himself off to advantage when in report. Lost it out on the move where he almost took off with enthusiasm and as a result his front action was careless and he lost his backline.
3 Talbot's Winflash Willie Do It at Leaveslake JW.

Limit Dog(4)
1 Dodd's & Pearson's Kelvera Hudson Hawk
lovely black decoration on this handsome dog. He has a lovely head, beautiful eyes and expression, well placed ears and such a good reach of neck, Well laid shoulder, straight forelimbs, so clean in throat and his back is rock steady. I would prefer more hind angulation as although he moved out with an even stride, I felt he could just have had that bit more rear drive.
2 Todhunter & Robinson's Takesti Moon Dancer. Another handsomely headed dog which delights in expression from such good eyes. He scores in head, it is balanced, has a decent length and strength in muzzle, yet retains that air of Dally quality. Well boned, the tightest of feet and he is a good shape. Coming towards me he was toeing in front and circling the ring his topline was not as firm as that of the winner.
3 Kay's Kaytian One Cook Kat JW.

Open Dog (8)
1 & CC Quayle's Ir Ch Cubalibre Top Spot ShCM
Medium sized handsome fellow, so well boned and beautifully constructed. I liked his head balance, ample neck, excellent fore assembly, correct ribbing and terrific hind angulation which he used so well when circling the ring. His action is smooth, purposeful and balanced. His decoration is lovely, his condition stunning and what a co-operative showman. Delighted to learn this is his 2nd CC and that I awarded him a RCC on a previous occasion!
2 & Res CC McCarthy's Kilndandy Old Copper. I really liked this liver on sight. Looks quality, is a lovely shape, so balanced in construction, perfect in body and coat condition as always from this exhibitor, and he seemed to enjoy just being there. I think he is an extremely good example of the breed and he only lost out to the winner's superior hind action.
3 Goff-Leggett's Ch. Washakie Nutcracker Prince JW.

Veteran Bitch (2)
1 Williams's Phadante Bossa Nova Baby.
A very active and sound moving bitch of excellent make, shape and condition. So fleet of foot that she put many of the younger exhibits to shame!
2 Roach's Ch Hebe Aletory in Holderness JW. Standing she looked so classy and is a very worthy titleholder. Only lost out to the smoother more purposeful and enthusiastic action of the winner.

Minor Puppy Bitch (4,1)
3 very promising babies. 1 & BP Christie's Sophtspot Cha Cha Cha.
Beautifully decorated black, ultra feminine in head, eyes and expression, holds her topline so well as she moves around the ring so I forgave her being a little careless as she came towards me. Despite her youth, I felt she had to be BP as she was so much more collected in profile action during the challenge.
2 Page's Winflash Born to be Wild. Could have been my winner as she too has lots of promise and I feel these two will change places often. She is pretty, has an air of class and promise which is hard to ignore and when settled on the stack her outline must appeal. Not quite so even stepping in profile action as the winner, but I put it all down to sheer babyishness as there is basically little wrong with her construction. Super temperament.
3 Pearson's Cannabee Coalblack.

Puppy Bitch (2)
1 S. Cha Cha Cha.
2 Stevenson's Dalkereve Divine Decision for Macula.
Well decorated and bond black of nice size and overall shape. Beautiful reach of neck, pleasing headpiece with dark eyes, level back and well muscled. I would like more upper arm length and that fraction more bend of stifle. Moved out evenly but not the length of stride of the winner.

Junior Bitch (5,1)
1 CC BOB & G2 Alexander's Offordale Sapphire.
I thought her to be quite outstanding and despite fierce opposition from some really top quality bitches, she fully warranted being the one chosen to go into the Group. Style, elegance, best front of the day, wonderful profile action of purpose and drive yet keeping that magnetic shape. Her head balance, eyes and expression are a joy to behold. Superbly schooled she is quite simply a classy example of the breed and is, I am told, already entitled to be a Champion as this is her 5th CC. Many more to come I feel sure.
2 Peers' Dalliviro Limited Edition. ,Quite heavily decorated but the distribution is very even. In stance she is balanced, has an excellent head carriage decent rump and level backline, so her shape draws the eye. She is well constructed, was in good body and coat and did everything her handler asked of her. Whilst sound enough she just lacked the light footed stride of the winner as they were sent around the ring.
3 Adderley's Buffrey May Queen at Leiahart.

Post Graduate Bitch (8)
1 Talbot's Pollypeck Prada at Leaveslake.
Liver of lovely type and of good construction. I loved her fore assembly, good shoulders decent upper arm and straight forelegs leading the tight feet. Has a good arch to her neck, is well ribbed and has good musculature. In spotless coat she drifted around the ring with a light, positive stride.
2 Dodds & Pearson's Kelvera Mercury Rising. What a show off this is one is!! Never lets up, using her neck to advantage, firm backline and well set tail. Not quite the rear angulation and this was reflected in her slightly shorter profile stride as she moved round the ring.
3 Peterson's Dalinese Who's That Girl at Daedalus JW.

Limit Bitch (9,2)
1 Goff-Leggett's Mullaboy Miss Chief of Washakie JW.
I see this quality bitch is a half sister to both the Bitch RCC winner and the Dog CC winner, all three being by Ch. W. Chief As Great. This lightly decorated bitch is a lovely make and shape, no harsh angles just curves and straight lines when needed. She owns such a pretty yet strong head, gorgeous eyes and expression, good ribbing and muscle tone and she shows a long, athletic stride in profile action. She complimented the Bitch CC line up.
2 Page's Winflash The Final Magic. A very good type, black spotted of lovely wither height, long neck, level back and she is so attentive in repose that she draws the eye to her beautiful outline. She too is so well muscled, well ribbed and bodied and stands on the tightest of feet. A bit full of herself on the move so less composed and settled in front action.
3 Smith's Tamilandas Pretty in Pink JW ShCM.

Open Bitch (6,1)
Easily the best class of the day and it was splitting hairs to separate the first 4 1 & Res CC Neath-Duggan's Ch. Buffrey Sprig O Mint JW.
I loved almost everything about this bitch. She is towards the upper height limit but her head and expression are completely feminine. Her shape is stunning, her condition in body and coat flawless and her action a complete joy to watch, positive, purposeful and she looked like she could move like that all day long. Ran the CC winner close. Certainly a very worthy titleholder and I just gave the nod to the younger bitch on having the better eyes.
2 Quayle's Ch Cubalibre Spot On JW. Another class act which must appeal for her utter balance throughout. She has style, shape, excellent shoulders, strong backline and a well set and carried tail. Delightful in head with an almost regal air in her gaze. Her side action is fluent and smooth. Just not quite so settle in front compared to the winner.
3 Dodds & Pearson's Ch. Camargue Gucci Envy.
