Minor Puppy Dog (4, 3a)
1. Stokes’ Elaridge Quincie. 7 mth liver with pleasing head, lovely ears framing attractive expression. Deep chest, reachy neck, well laid shoulders. Good bone & tail set, moved well. BP.
Puppy Dog (4, 3a) 1. Witheld.
2. Clement’s Caldecacre Call Me Burburry. Strode out well round the ring but very definitely not in his best coat today!
Junior Dog (9, 1a) 1. Pigden’s Tyrodal Mecury Cougar. Elegant but masculine well balanced l/s dog, good colour. Strong, round bone, cat feet and good top line. Really covered the ground.
2. Hammett’s Bryedal Mayan. Darker liver, preferred head of 1. Good depth of brisket, plenty of heart room. In super condition, used well muscled hindquarters to advantage.
3. Hale’s Mapplewell It Takes Two.
Graduate Dog (5, 2a) 1. Hartley & Griffiths’ Miragua The Explorer. Nice size, deep black spotting, ears carried well, pleasing expression. Stood four square on cat feet, round bone, good body & spring of rib. Good hard condition, won easily on movement.
2. Brookes’ Hispot Hispirits. Another sparkling black. Good topline and well let down hocks. Soundly constructed with good lay of shoulders, depth through & strong quarters. Kindly expression.
3. Locke-McFadzean’s Olbero Osojolly Over Sassafras.
Postgraduate Dog (6) 1. Petersen’s Buffrey Beau Bell at Daedalus. Eye catching black dog, well balanced and shown in hard condition. Attractive head, good reach of neck & excellent angulation fore & aft. Good bone & feet. Moved well, effortlessly covering the ground.
2. Gardner’s Wrendragge Willyeckerslyk. Bigger type than 1 but still balanced. Clear, deep black spotting & lovely dark eye. Well constructed with deep chest & excellent spring of rib. Good bone & bend of stifle, muscular hindquarters.
3. Moseley’s Loxleyvale Khandahar.
Limit Dog (11, 1a) 1. Emmett’s Ellemstra Decorated Hero. Elegant dog, clear attractive black spotting on sparkling white coat, darkest of eyes. Lovely ears, reachy neck, good feet & well let down hocks. Presents a well balanced picture both standing & on the move.
2. Oatridge’s Dalehouse Rockfella. Showy dog with deep black spotting, in hard condition. As one expects from this kennel nothing is overdone, he is a soundly made typical Dalmatian. Moved with drive, using his strong hindquarters to advantage.

Open Dog (10) 1. Precious’ Lupiac The Thieving Magpie. Masculine b/s dog, strength & substance combined with elegance. Lovely head & ear carriage, reachy neck flowing into well laid shoulders, superb depth of body & spring of rib. Good bone & feet. Excellent hindquarters with well let down hocks, level topline & correct tail carriage maintained on the move. Moved well, with plenty of drive & joie de vivre. CC & BOB
2. McCarthy’s Ch. Tollwood Lionel at Kilndandy. Nice size l/s dog, lovely colour, clear spotting, kindly expression, Good topline & tail carriage maintained on the move. Good round bone & feet, well let down hocks, strong quarters. Res CC
3. Kenyon’s Ch. Marricdale Mr Millionaire.
Veteran Dog (6, 1a) 1. Gatford’s Ch. Tommy Brock. Still in sparkling form at 10 in coat, attitude & movement. Well muscled with strong hindquarters, good bone & feet.
2. Hernandez’s Ch. Dalminshi Gypsy Roamer. Another 10 year old with a sparkling coat & dark eye. Moved with great enthusiasm & drive.
3. Beeston’s Master Plan at Sanadal.

Minor Puppy Bitch (4, 1a)
1. Beadling’s Pollypeck Picture This. Confident 8 mth b/s girl. Dark eye, pretty ears & expression. Good bone & feet, moved & showed well.
2. Stokes’ Elaridge Sherry Pepper. Pretty 7mth l/s baby. Attractive head, sweet expression. Longer cast than 1 & not so well bodied up. I look forward to seeing her as she gains in confidence and maturity.
3. Simpson’s Dalmark The Raindancer.
Puppy Bitch (5, 2a) 1. Pollypeck Picture This.
2. Ward’s Frankish Zenith. Strong bitch, intense black spotting & dark eye. Good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, deep ribcage & muscular hindquarters. Not as feminine as 1.
3 Clement’s Caldecacre Chenin Rouge.
Junior Bitch (13, 4a) 1. Neath-Duggan’s Buffrey Maybee. Compact bitch, deep black spotting on clear white ground, dark eye. Attracive expression, used ears to advantage. Deep chest, good bone & feet, level topline & well let down hocks. Moved well with drive.
2. Beaumont’s L’Angelo Caduto. Showy b/s bitch, blackest eyes, lovely spotty face beautifully framed by correctly carried ears. Well bodied up with good depth of brisket, reachy neck & pleasing topline, muscular quarters. Persevere with moving her on a loose lead!
3. Rose’s Washakie Idaho by Candidals.
Graduate Bitch (5) 1 Lamb’s Leaveslake Lily at Dalpeto. Elegant liver of correct size, good colour spots, pretty ears, sweet expression. Good reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, deep brisket, strong hindquarters with good angulation. Moved & showed well.
2. Rose’s Washakie Ocean Song by Candidals. Deep black spotting on clear white ground. Another bitch with lovely ears & expression. Reachy neck, good shoulders & round bone, moved well.
3. Cobb’s Washakie Madam Platinum Paws at Kalokairie.
Postgraduate Bitch (10, 3a) 1. Ward’s Frankish Galaxy. Very attractive l/s with correct colour spots, lovely ears, head & expression. Excellent reach of neck & depth of brisket with plenty of heart room. Good shoulders & hind angulation, correct tail set.
2. MacDonald of Sleat’s Bosville Beignet. Quality liver in super condition. Compact body, clear even spotting, good bone & feet. Level topline, muscular hindquarters. Just preferred expression of 1.
3. Johnson’s Tynevale Teasing Tart.
Limit Bitch (8, 2a) 1. Willis’ Cibrith Hazel Nut. Eyecatching, showy l/s bitch. Clear even spotting of correct colour. Lovely head & expression, used her ears well. Good lay of shoulder & depth of brisket. Round bone,cat feet & strong well let down hocks. Topline excellent, good tail carriage. Moved well with drive. I was pleased to award her the CC, which I understand makes her up, subject to KC.
2. Baker’s Abbydal Angelica by Dalleaf. Elegant l/s bitch, cast in a larger mould than 1. Lovely spotting, good colour, attractive head & expression framed by beautifully spotted ears, super reach of neck. Good bone, excellent depth through, good hind angulation, moved & showed well.
3 Page’s Winter Magic.
Open Bitch (6, 2a) 1. Hipkiss’ Dalkiss Isla of Iona. I last judged her when she was a 6mth old baby and was delighted to see how she has matured into a balanced, elegant bitch. Correct colour liver spotting & eyes, attractive head & expression. Lovely neck flowing into well laid shoulders, level topline & correct tail carriage. Plenty of depth, good spring of rib & hind angulation. Moved well with a good length of stride. Res CC.
2. Pickup’s Roadcoach Reve en Rose. Good black spotting on sparkling white coat. Reachy neck, deep brisket & strong hindquarters with well let down hocks. Good angulation fore & aft. Moved & showed well.
3. Kay’s Kaytian Kat’s Broomstick.
Veteran Bitch (3) 1. Hartley’s Miragua Charlotte. At 9 ½ this bitch is still looking great, showing & moving with great gusto. Deep black spotting, attractive head & kindly expression, eyes as dark.
2. Hipkiss’ Dalkiss Black Magic. 8 ½ yr old b/s bitch in very much the same mould as 1. Good pigmentation, large evenly distributed spots, darkest of eyes.
3. Pilgrim’s Weaponess Bellbird.
