It was an honour and pleasure to judge at the Welsh KC and thanks to exhibitors for the opportunity of going over your lovely dogs. From the dogs I judged on the day temperaments on the whole were very good and I thought feet had improved with some wonderful tight cat feet on show. Also lots of lovely dark eye colour on the blacks. There seemed to be more depth through the couplings which was good to see, but the dreaded dally rash was in evidence. I didn’t let it sway my decisions too much as it is only superficial, but of course for top honours it had to be taken into account.
