A good entry numerically in the present economic climate & considering held on a Friday. Although I was pleased with my unbeaten line up I have to say I was disappointed in the quality of many exhibits, particularly in the amles & the lower classes which does not bode well for future stud dogs. Muzzles are becoming too short & backskull very heavy. Many were upright in shoulder so had no reach in front movement. Hind action too was poor in many.

1 Alcock's Mapplewell Chocolate Box for Dalspartan, moderate size liver of good overall balance, good head & eye, firm topline, good tailset, storng quarters, steady action when he settled.
MPD (1) A.
PD (3)
1 Williams' Dalesbed Wish Granted strong well made liver, bold clear spotting of good colour, correct balance in head, clean neck & shoulders, big lad but once he develops in body should look the part, fluid action on the move;
2 Wheaton's Dalamanti Phantom Medal, attractive head, good pigmentation, good bone & feet, good quarters but lacked drive on the move.
JD (7)
1 Dunnachie's Dvojica Vendetta, very good balance fore & aft, deep well made body though looks a little loaded in shoulder, perhaps shedding a few pounds would present a cleaner outline, outmoved the others in this class;
2 Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra What The Dickens, handy for size, good front, bone& feet, excellent topline & quarters, really drives going away but not the reach in front of 1. Needs more ring confidence I understand he had a fright as a puppy so the owner is to be commended for his perseverance;
3 Wright's Millbelle Lithium.
YD (6)
1 Whincup's Tamilanda Panther Lilly, very elegant black, bold clear spotting, good head pattern, excellent neck, enough bone & good feet, strong body with good topline & tailset. Would prefer a shade more angulation behind but that said he moved very well with drive & length of stride;
2 Cuthbertson's Kalsidoni Cameo, good overall balance, liked his head & pigment, very nice expression, strong muscular body with excellent hindquarters used to advantage on the move. Not quite the reach in front of 1;
3 Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra What The Dickens.
PGD (4)
1 Lamb's Dalpetro Decaprio, liver who when stacked looks the part has he has a good head & eye, strong bone & good feet, deep body & firm topline, moves well in front but hind action lacks drive & is very close behind;
2 Sampson's Stocklore Wizard Of The Forrest, beautiful dark eyes on this black, while he moved better behind than 1 he lacked reach in front & spotting lets him down.
LD (7)
1 Webb & Chrystal's Dalleaf Devil In Disguise, very elegant black, lovely head & eye, clean neck & shoulders, good bone & feet, excelllent balance to body, firm topline & tailset, strong well made quarters, his good drive & reach in front, tight coat with clear black spotting. CC, his third;
2 Barrett & Fort's Shulune Ice Phantom of Dalamanti, well made black, looks a real stallion on top form & unlucky to meet 1. Good for bone& feet, muscular body used to advantage on the move. Not as settled as 1 so had to be content with RCC, I am sure his third will not be long coming;
3 Baker's Dalleaf Devils Disciple.
OD (6)
1 Alexander's Ch Offordale Chevalier, very worthy ch, gorgeous head, he stands over too much ground which makes him a little unbalanced. Excellent rear action but is a little loose in front action;
2 Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra Hudson Hawk, rather a surprise this one, as he has never appealed but on the move he was one of the best with good driving action with plenty of reach in front. Showmanship let him down in the end;
3 Christie's Ch Sophtspot Abracadabra.
MPB (3)
1 Chance & Dodds' Kayjule Olympic Hope for Dotlun, what a pretty feminine puppy, bang on for size, lovely head & eye, good front assembly, enough bone & good feet, attractive rich spotting, body developing well, moved well. RCC & BP;
2 Baker's Dalmaigheo Ruby Ruby, not the head as yet of 1 but has time, scores for balance, excellent bone & feet, good on the move both ways;
3 Ford's Kayjule Olympic Gold.
PB (5)
1 Cobb-McGill's Kalokairie's Lady Godiva, very well made liver, liked her head& eye, very good spotting on a strong balanced body. Outmoved the others here;
2 Pickup's Roadcoach Reine Des Roses, black, presents a clean crisp outline when stacked. Her head needs to break as yet. Strong well made body, good front action. Needs to put a bit more effort in when going away;
3 Dinsdale's Dalesbred Going For Gold.
JB (6)
1 Gallagher's Kelevra Madame Defarge of Dalcarla, very elegant black who does just enough in terms of showmanship, good head & eye, enough bone& good feet, clean neck & shoulders, strong quarters used well to outmove the others in this class;
2 Haywood-Ridgway's Luccombe Strawberry Dream, thought this would be my winner as she handles very well. Gorgeous head& eye, bold black spotting, deep well made body, good reach in front, but hind action let her down. Am sure she will have better days;
3 Dunnachie's Dvojica Volition.
YB (5)
1 Page's Winflash Elle's Belles, beautiful black from any angle, love her head & eye, excellent bone & feet, clean neck & shoulder, good body & tailset, very good quarters, has now bodied up & looks the part as previously she could lose her topline but her handler has obviously worked on this & she stormed round the ring & looked the part. CC & BOB;
2 Emmett Simons' Dalliviro Reba Mac at Ellemstra, another promising black, deep bold spotting in a clear background, balanced head, good bone & feet, steady action both ways. Another few months to finish & she should do very well;
3 Gilmore's Beatrice Bow Bliss at Divazzi.
PGB (11)
1 Cooper's Charmindals Impedimenta, tall elegant black who took this class on movement as she has good reach in front & excellent drive behind, coupled with that she has deep black spotting & feminine head & expression, enough bone & good feet;
2 Lamb's Dalpetro Diva, more compact than 1, equally good on the move. Not the depth of spotting of 1. Another nice head & expression;
3 Connolly's tamilanda Summer Pink at Connomoor.
LB (6)
1 Petersen's Dalimese Who's That Girl at Daedalus, black who could have carried a shade less weight particularly over the shoulders. Felt she outmoved the others here. Good for spotting, depth of body & angulation behind;
2 Whincup's Tamilanda Lilly The Pink, lighter marked & more feminine but not as deep in body or the reach in front of 1, appeared a little unsettled, her handler had a busy day;
3 Wright's Boutonneux Artemis of Millbelle.
OB (6)
1 Cooper's Caldecacre Couronne under Charmindals, looked well, good head & eye, bold black spotting on a clear background, deep well made body, strong topline with good quarters, outmoved others;
2 Whincup's Tamilanda Hot Pink, very pretty feminine head, found her a little narrow right through & was a little unsettled. That said she moved well fore & aft;
3 Alexander's Offordale Catalina.
