There are three things I would like to comment on.

I was very shocked to come across at least three dogs with flecks in their eyes. Eyes to me are the soul of the dog & are very important. It is something I cannot overlook.

Ticking in the coat is very undesirable. The coat is to be white with good spotting.

This was the first occasion I have had to withhold an award. I had no pleasure in doing this. A dog who was unplaced in an earlier class then came into Open with only two dogs entered, I did not think this dog had the quality to be placed & be awarded a Stud Book number.

That said, the dog entry was not big enough to give an overall impression but the bitch’s had quite a bit of quality about it.
