A warm welcome awaited at this excellent venue. Weather remained warm and sunny throughout the day adding to the pleasant atmosphere around the outdoor ring. I thank the committee for all their hard work in ensuring the day progressed well and also to my two very capable stewards.
I was concerned that there was a lack of quality in some of the lower classes in both sexes and appeal for more care when embarking on breeding programmes by studying pedigrees and asking questions of those around who are more than willing to give help and advice learned from their own past experiences. Knowledge can be gained from many quarters and can be used carefully to build a good sound basis to help produce quality stock. I would like to say that I was more than pleased with several exhibits that were shown in excellent condition to show off their many qualities.

2nd Page’s Winflash Jimmy Choo. 8 months very immature black spotted male who needs time to mature in body and gain confidence in the ring.

1st Alexander’s Offordale Minnesota. Almost a year old. Lightly spotted young male. Pleased in head and eye colour. Has a good reach of neck. Sound body, good tight feet. Won this class with steady movement.

1st Croft & Cobb-McGill’s Koroyza Agent Provocateur With Kalokairie. A sound young dog that has a masculine head with correct ear carriage. Looks balanced. Level topline and good tail set and carriage. Steady on the move with a good long stride and strong drive.
2nd Addy’s Creaganbrec Jacob Marley. A nicely decorated young dog. Head of good proportions with dark eyes and well carried ears. Nice make and shape and shown in good condition. Needs to settle on the move.
3rd McGregor’s Robroskei Highland Houdini.

1st Hobbs & Whiting’s Boutonneux Baby Buco Avec. Plenty to like of this young male. Deep black spotting. Masculine head, ears carried well. Deep chest and strong over back. Steady movement.
2nd Vockings & Smethurst’s Portunes Green Day. Liver spotted boy of good proportions, pleasing head with good eye colour. Presented in good condition, unfortunately not moving at his best today.

1st Dunnachie’s Dvojica Vendetta. Eye catching black spotted dog who really impressed. Well balanced with correct angulations front and rear. Tight feet. Pleasing head with correct ear placement and carriage, dark eyes giving kind expression. Sound front with deep chest, level back, correct tail set and carriage. Good width of thigh, nicely rounded croup, strong hocks enabled him to move with purpose and drive. CC.
2nd Pratt’s Gwynmor Finch Hatton at Solostar (Imp) . Well presented black dog. Ideal size and lovely make and shape with plenty of substance and bone. Moved well but lost his sparkle in the challenge.

Head of good proportions with well developed muzzle, reachy neck and defined wither, level topline with correctly placed tail. Good deep chest and strength over loin. Well muscled rear. Sound movement. RCC.
2nd Barret & Fort’s Ch. Shulune Ice Phantom of Dalamanti Sh.CM. An upstanding black spotted male with a good striding action on the move. Masculine head with good reach of neck. Strong bone and good muscle. Level topline and good tailset held well on the move. Nice turn of stifle.
