Dalmatians

It is a considerable time from my last appointment to judge this breed, I found that the general quality has declined, the overall standard has slipped to below the required Standard for the breed with the exception of a few high quality dogs.

MPD (2)

1 Alexander’s Offordale Griffin, a very promising outgoing puppy good head, nice ear carriage adequate reach of neck well set shoulders, straight front tight feet, & clean clear coat, level topline good bend of stifle well carried tail moved with confidence. BDP;
2 Nicholson’s Dalmalli King ‘N Country, a sound puppy, head neck shoulder very good, clarity in eye, level topline good tailset well bent stifle moved well, adequate depth of rib for age.

1 Hopkin’s Rapanooey Red Rose, moved out well with drive, good bend of stifle, tight feet, well set tail level top, good shoulder very good front with adequate chest room, nice head & expression, well set & good ear carriage well defined stop. Clear coat even spotting;
2 Wheaton’s Buffrey The Last Word at Acinonyx, well set young dog did not move as well as 1 good head, nice reach of neck, well laid shoulder, good front level top, nice tail carriage, slightly straight in stifle. Well ribbed;
3 Newton & Newton-O’brien’s Chizzmic What A Carry On.

1 Whiting’s Rapanooey Sun Spot, a very upstanding liver dog, good head proportions, well set ears, dark eye, nice reach of neck, very good shoulder placement, level topline, correct tail, correct bend in stifle, tight feet moved with a positive action. Sound front & ribbing;
2 Hernandez’s Dalminshi Starlight Express, good head, dark eye, good stop, nice ear carriage, clean reach of neck into well laid shoulders, level topline, nice tailset, tight feet, movement not as free as the first. Clear jacket with even spotting;
3 Carroll’s Sophtspot Hip Hip Hooray.

1 Croft, & Cobb-Mcgill’s Kalokairie’s Bullet Proof, very good head, clear dark eye, well set & carried ears, nice reach of neck good shoulders round bone to nice cat feet, level topline well set tail good bend of stifle moved out well;
2 Hernandez’s Dalminshi Starlight Express;
3 Whincup’s Tamilanda Midnight Lilly.

2 Baker’s Dalmaigheo Love Is The Drug, moved with drive, nice bend of stifle, good tailset, level topline, well set shoulder, straight bone to nice feet, good head & nice eye colour. Well ribbed with sound chest;
3 Carroll’s Sophtspot Hip Hip Hooray.

1 Whiting’s Cragvallie Chance On Me, showed with enthusiasm, very strong movement, powerful drive, head ears eye reach of neck all correct, clean coat, level topline, well set tail, very good front end, tight feet, nicely shaped stifle well developed second thigh;
2 Donnelly’s Tamilanda Berry Ice Lilly, not the quality of 1 but still a very good dog, good movement nice head ears eyes, correct reach of neck, well laid shoulder, level topline & strong rear end.

1 Alexander’s Offordale Picasso, excellent all round dog, conformed to Standard, most closely very good head proportions, correct eye nice ear carriage well extended clean neck superb topline good tailset strong front tight feet well bent stifle good hocks well muscled, exceptional movement, very good tight clean coat. Pleased to award him BD & BOB;
2 Richardson’s Mapplewell Dynamite, very good head, nice dark clear eye, positive ear carriage, good reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, level topline, well set tail, straight front, good feet, well bent stifle, well defined second thigh, very good movement both fore & aft;
3 Talbot’s Rapanooey Moai at Leaveslake.

OD (7,1)

1 Pratt’s Ch Gwynmor Finch Hatton at Solostar, well proportioned head, good eye, very good ear carriage, strong muzzle, nice reach of neck, good shoulder placement, strong bone to good feet, level topline well set tail, nice bend of stifle & moved well. RBD;
2 Neath-Duggan & Baker’s Ch Buffrey Incognito by Dalleaf, not the quality of 1 but still a good dog, fair head, good eye, nice ears, adequate reach of neck, nice shoulder placement, good topline lighter boned on front end, short in forearm & narrower, adequate bend of stifle, lacked drive on the move;
3 Baker’s Ir Ch Klarkeson A Kind Of Magic.

VD (3,2)

1 Barrett & Fort’s Ch Shulune Ice Phantom of Dalamanti, this old boy enjoyed his day out, good head, strong muzzle, nice stop, very good ear carriage, very nice reach of neck, well muscled, good topline well set tail, good bend of stifle moved with drive. BV.

1 Thornthwaite & Patrick’s Cohavrick Symphony, pretty young lady, showed with confidence nice feminine head, good eye, well carried ears, nice reach of neck, good shoulders level top, well bent stifle nice tail nice puppy bouncy movement but saw enough;
2 Crookes’ Dalmark The Ratafier, a very immature although promising puppy, not the substance of 1, nice head eye & ear good topline & tail, movement lacked drive;
3 Kembrey’s Dalmark The Kir Royale.

PB (10,2)

1 Gardner’s Dvojica Chilli Chutney for Wrendragge, a very high quality youngster, excellent head good clear eye, nice stop, well carried ears, evenly spotted, good reach of neck well set shoulders, adequate front bone to good feet level topline, well carried tail, nice bend of stifle, moved with drive for one so young. BBP & BP, also pleased to see she went PG1, congratulations;
2 Neath-Duggan, & Baker’s Buffrey Hanky Panky by Dalleaf, not the quality of 1 but a nice enough puppy, balanced head proportions, good ear carriage good reach of neck, nice shoulder placement, well ribbed, level topline, movement not her strong point;
3 Quayle’s Chizzmic Carry On with Cubalibre.

1 Sampson’s Dalstorm Eternal Promise, promising but immature young bitch, nice head good ear carriage reasonable reach of neck, passable shoulders, nice topline, good tailset, adequate movement;
2 Cuthbertson’s Ellemstra Little Mix with Kalsidoni, very similar to 1, lacks maturity, moved well, good topline good bend of stifle, nice bone on front end, good feet, crabbed slightly on the move;
3 Bardey’s Dalcross Destiny’s Child.

1 Whincup’s Tamilanda Pick-A-Lilly, up & coming bitch with time on her side, good head nice eye passable ear carriage well spotted, good reach of neck firm topline, well set shoulders, moderate bone to good feet, well bent stifle, adequate movement;
2 Fillingham’s Tamilanda Valentina Lilly at Dotsadaisy, this bitch showed well, nice head good eye, nice ear carriage, very clean reach of neck, well sprung rib, good top well set tail, good bend of stifle movement lacked drive;
3 Richardson’s Mapplewell Ely Brown.

1 Neal’s Tolkain Portobello Belle, a high quality bitch, very good head very nice eye, well set ears, good bite very good reach of neck, well sprung ribs, nice shoulder placement, good bone to very good feet, level topline well set tail, nice bend of stifle positive action both fore & aft. RBB;
2 Brennan’s Daymadals In The Mood, a very nice bitch, good head, well developed ear carriage, super eye, nice reach of neck, good shoulders, nice bone to very good feet, level top well bent stifle, good positive movement;
3 Stevenson’s Macula Moonlight Mystique.

1 Thorner’s Tolutim Evensong at Naracoopa, a very good quality bitch, very nice head, good muzzle, well broken ears, good stop well arched neck, good shoulder lay, level topline very good front with adequate chest room, tight feet good bend of stifle moved with drive;
2 Dore’s Daldior Miss Hula Hula Girl, nice bitch but lacked the drive of the 1, good head, nice eye well carried ears clean & sound reach of neck well set shoulders, good spring of rib firm level topline, correct angulations & good mover;
3 Baker’s Dalmaigheo Love Me Tender.

1 Alexander’s Ch Offordale Larissa, excellent bitch balanced & clean head lines, nice dark eye, positive ear carriage, excellent reach of neck into sound shoulders, ample chest room, strong bone to very good feet, level topline, well set tail, nice bend of stifle, good second thigh, strong positive movement, very good all round. BB & CC;
2 Pickup’s Roadcoach Reine des Roses, nice bitch a lot of good points nice head good eye & ear carriage, very good reach of neck, sound in shoulders, nice bone to lovely tight feet, good topline, clearest of white coat with depth of spotting nice tailset, good bend of stifle, just lacked the drive of the winner;
3 Dodds & Pearson’s Ch/Ir Ch Kelevra Classic Cliché.

1 Thorner’s Ch Tolutim Drambuie, showed a positive presence, moved well, good head, nice eye & ear carriage, nice reach of neck, good topline, well set shoulders, nice bend of stifle;
2 Wright’s Angelic Aphrodite for Millbelle, similar type of bitch good head, nice dark eye, well carried ears, nice reach of neck, level top, good tailset & well bent stifle, well sprung ribs, ample chest room, & positive movement;
3 Gibbs’ Ch Phadante Dixie Lily.
