My thanks to the officers and committee for the opportunity to judge at this well-supported show – to my two efficient stewards – and to the exhibitors for my lovely entry. Overall I thought the quality was high, and I was pleased with my main winners. Most exhibits were in good well-muscled condition – most had a good length of tail - and nearly all were happy and friendly. Movement out and back was disappointing in some exhibits who looked really great as they gaited around the ring, which was reflected in some of my placings; a few paced and/or overstepped, which again came into account when placing.

MPD (3):
1 Richards & Davies’ Hafwenna King Of The North, raw 6 months with much to like, pleasing head proportions, dark eyes, elegant well balanced frame, good bone and feet, firm topline, happy character, in fine condition;
2 Burke’s Hafwenna The Red Viper, I see litter brother to 1, similar comments, particularly good second thigh and well defined hocks;
3 Cuthbertson’s Kalsidoni Blue Gemstone.

PD (3):
1 Baker’s Kelevra Chive Talking with Dalleaf, masculine yet elegant all through, pleasing head and eyes, well balanced frame, good bone and feet, good depth brisket, well developed second thigh, well defined hocks, well rooted tail of good length, in fine condition. BPD
2 Richards’ Mediolanum Winterfell (imp Srb) , upstanding and well balanced but heavier all through, good depth brisket, strong loin, well-muscled, happy character;
3 Kaal’s Schunikka Ifor Dream.

JD (5): Good class.
1 Alexander’s Offordale Grendadier, well-balanced and elegant, pleasing head, nicely arched neck, strong bone, neat feet, good depth brisket, strong loin, well-muscled, lively character, sound rhythmic mover, in fine condition;
2 Pilgrims’ Nospar’s Drambuie, much to like, close up, not quite as mature as 1, lovely head, good length neck well set on, deep brisket, well-muscled, good second thigh, well-defined hocks, neat feet, in fine condition;
3 Kelevra Chive Talking with Dalleaf.

YD (5):
1 Kembrey’s Dalmark’s Rhythm And Blues, well balanced and elegant, pleasing head, strong bone, neat feet, deep brisket, ribs well sprung, well-muscled, in fine condition, happy character;
2 Wootton’s Tolkain Caliban, another well balanced elegant youngster, pleasing head, good length neck, deep brisket, firm topline, strong bone, well defined hocks;
3 Howard’s Decoda’s Crackerjack.

MD (1):
1 Rosser’s Dalstorm Incan Warrior, upstanding and masculine yet still elegant, pleasing head, strong bone, neat feet, good depth brisket and spring ribs, strong loin, well developed second thigh, well defined hocks, in fine condition, happy character.

ND (2):
1 Dalstorm Incan Warrior;
2 Mediolanum Winterfell.

GD (5):
1 Robbins & Hensman’s Jasquarella Edge Of Winter at Palouse, well balanced in head and frame, good depth brisket, strong bone, neat feet, firm strong topline, well rooted tail, well developed second thigh, well defined hocks, in finest condition, happy character;
2 Crookes’ Dalberry The Starburst, another well balanced elegant male, pleasing head, good length neck, firm muscular body, deep brisket, strong loin and topline, neat feet, in fine condition, happy character;
3 Hill’s Dalstorm Incan Mission.

PGD (3,1a):
1 Tingeys’ Dallydor Lockdown Legend, very elegant and well balanced, pleasing head, good length neck well set on, strong bone, neat feet, good length rib, strong loin and topline, well rooted tail, well-muscled, well defined hocks, free rhythmic mover when he got into his stride, in fine condition;
2 Williamson’s Decoda’s Captain Tom, different balance to 1, good depth brisket, neat feet, well defined hocks, in fine condition, happy character.

LD (5,1):
1 Townson & Pardoe’s Kaytoni Oh What A Night at Daymadals, upstanding, well balanced and elegant, pleasing head, strong bone, neat feet, good depth brisket, firm loin and topline, well-muscled, in finest condition, happy character;
2 Alexander’s Offordale Griffin, well balanced all through, pleasing head, good length neck nicely arched and well set on, strong bone, neat feet, deep brisket, ribs well sprung, firm loin, good turn stifle, well defined hocks, in fine condition, lively character;
3 Richards & Davies’ Hafwenna We Will Rock You.

OD (9,1): Lovely class.
1 Whincup’s Tamilanda Air Force One, such a beautifully balanced, elegant dog, oozing type and quality, pleasing head, good depth brisket, well sprung ribs, strong loin and topline, good turn stifle, well defined hocks, neat feet, well-muscled, in finest condition, natural showman. RBD
2 Green & Sears’ Alphadal Aint Misbehaving at Judally JW, mature liver, another beautifully balanced typy male, pleasing head, strong bone, neat feet, good depth brisket, strong loin and topline, well-muscled, well defined hocks, in fine condition. BLD
3 Sampsons’ Dalstorm Golden Guinea JW.

SJVD (3,1): Two wonderful examples of the breed.
1 Neath-Duggan & Baker’s Ch Buffrey Incognito by Dalleaf JW, 8 years black, my notes say ‘outstanding’ which he certainly was, loved everything about him, so well balanced and typy, strong and well-muscled but still elegant, pleasing head, strong bone, neat feet, good depth brisket, well sprung ribs, firm loin and topline, well defined hocks, in finest condition, best moving male of the day, so sound and rhythmic from all angles, happy character. BD, BBD, BVD, RBIS, BOSIS & BVIS
2 Whincup’s Ch Tamilanda Midnight Lilly JW, similar comments, so much to admire, just outmoved by 1 today, pleasing head, good length neck, good depth brisket, firm topline and loin, good turn stifle, well defined hocks, neat feet, in finest condition, well-schooled and handled.

SSVD (1):
1 Scott-Allen & Davis’ Tolutim Yaffle, masculine and well balanced 11 years in tip top condition, pleasing head, good length neck, well laid shoulders well set on, strong bone, neat feet, good depth brisket, firm body and topline, good turn stifle, well defined hocks, happy character.

MPB (5,2):
1 Bradley’s Hafweena Vayria;
2 Burke’s Hafwenna Mother Of Dragons; two feminine babies, 1 slightly more mature than 2 – I see litter sisters to the MPD
1 & 2 - both have pleasing heads, good length neck well set on, well balanced frames, neat feet, well defined hocks, sound rhythmic movement, both in fine condition;
3 Smith’s Spotamour’s Jelly Tot.

PB (2): Two lovely girls.
1 Alexander’s Offordale Santtini, elegant well balanced typy girl, pleasing in head, frame and outline, good length nicely arched neck, well angulated fore and aft, good depth brisket, firm well-muscled body and topline, stands up well on neat feet, well developed second thigh, hocks well defined, sound rhythmic mover, lively character, in fine condition. 2 Neath-Duggan & Coyne’s Kelevra Pickle My Fennel with Buffrey, close up, much to admire, pleasing head, well balanced frame, good depth brisket and spring ribs, in finest condition.

1 Jenkins & Ridgway’s Luccombe Strawberry Ripple, pleasing in head, balance and outline, good bone, neat feet, good depth brisket, firm well-muscled body, well defined hocks, sound rhythmic mover, in fine condition, well handled;
2 Whincup’s Tamilanda Instant Star, close up, much to like all through, pleasing head, well balanced frame, good depth brisket, firm loin and topline, stands up well on sound limbs and neat feet, alert and active, in finest condition;
3 Stocks’ Nospar’s Gin And Tonic.

1 Williamson & Howard’s Decoda’s Toffee Apple, feminine and elegant, pleasing head, well balanced frame, good bone, neat feet, good depth brisket, strong loin, well angulated quarters with good second thigh and well defined hocks, in fine condition;
2 Kembrey’s Dalmark’s Banana-Rama, close up, pleasing head, good bone, neat feet, strong loin, well-muscled, in fine condition;
3 Moss’s Winflash Mirage.

2 Townson & Pardoe’s Sophtspot Phantasia for Daymadals, heavily marked black of pleasing size and balance, liked head, bone, good depth brisket, strong loin, well defined hocks, sound rhythmic mover, happy character;

1 Colliers’ Kallierbelle Pink Sapphire, feminine, typy and well balanced, pleasing head, good bone, well angulated fore and aft, good depth brisket, well sprung ribs, firm topline, strong loin, in fine condition, sound rhythmic mover, happy character, well handled;
2 Saunders & David’s Dallydyl Honey Trap JW, much to admire, pleasing head, well angulated fore and aft, good depth brisket, firm topline, strong loin, neat feet, well defined hocks, well-muscled, not quite the confidence of 1;
3 Nospar’s Gin And Tonic.

PGB (7,1): Difficult class.
1 Derrick & Ryan’s Kalokairie’s Hocus Pocus, elegant and well balanced, pleasing head, nicely arched neck of good length, good depth brisket, strong loin, stands up well on sound limbs and neat feet, well defined hocks, well-muscled, happy character, sound rhythmic mover;
2 Scott-Allen & Davis’ Dallydyl Coder Breaker JW, much to admire, slightly heavier all through, pleasing head, good length neck well set on, well angulated fore and aft, good depth brisket, strong loin, well-muscled, happy character;
3 Collier’s Kallierbelle Bluebelle.

LB (10): Lovely class.
1 Burrows’ Ellemstra Tough Cookie at Shacarlu, pleasing size and type, so elegant and well balanced all through, sound limbs, neat feet, good depth brisket and spring ribs, firm topline and loin, good second thigh, sound rhythmic mover, happy character, in fine condition;
2 Kembrey’s Dalmark The Ash Blonde, close up, much to like, also feminine and elegant with good bone, neat feet, good depth brisket, well-muscled, in fine condition;
3 Alcock’s Kayjule Amber at Dalspartan.

OB (6):
1 Alexander’s Offordale Kalinda, feminine and well balanced all through, she oozes type and quality, pleasing head, good length neck well set on, good bone, sound limbs, neat feet, good depth brisket, firm topline, strong loin, good turn stifle, well defined hocks, happy character, best mover of the day (from all angles - sound and rhythmic with good length stride), in immaculate condition. 2 Finlays’ Dvojica Excuse My French at Dalfin JW, close up (unlucky to meet 1 today), feminine and full of type and quality, pleasing head, good length neck well set on, sound well balanced well-muscled frame, good depth brisket, well sprung ribs, strong loin, firm topline, sound limbs, neat feet, in finest condition, happy character;
3 Healy, Healy & Wheaton’s Hebemor Ruby Tiger from Acinonyx JW.

SJVB (5,1): Another difficult class.
1 Healeys’ Dalmark The White Witch at Hebemor, feminine and elegant with a naturally balanced symmetrical outline, pleasing head, good length neck well set on, good bone, sound limbs, neat feet, good depth brisket, strong loin and topline, well angulated quarters, well defined hocks, in fine condition, looked right from all angles (stacked or on the move). 2 Jenkins & Ridgway’s Luccombe Strawberry Kisses, thought might be my winner when she first gaited round the ring, much to like, pleasing head, good length neck, well balanced frame, good depth brisket and spring ribs, happy character, well handled;

SSVB (2):
1 Gardners’ Ch Dvojica Black Again at Wrendragge JW ShCM, not surprised to see this 10-year-old holds all these titles, she is full of lovely type and quality with a flowing symmetrical outline, pleasing head, lovely clean neck well set on, firm well balanced frame, strong loin, good bone, neat feet, good turn stifle, well developed second thigh, well defined hocks, alert and happy, sound free mover;
2 Morgans’ Winflash Olympic Star JW ShCM, feminine and typy, pleasing head, well balanced frame, strong loin, good second thigh, well defined hocks.

BRACE (3): No easy feat to control two lively dogs, so bravo to these three handlers!
