DALMATIANS

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge Dalmatians at their show. It was a lovely show and the beautiful weather made it more enjoyable. I would also like to thank my very efficient stewards for their hard work on the day.

I was disappointed to see some exhibits with severe Dally rash, which obviously had to be taken into account. Also, some dirty exhibits and dogs in poor condition. However the quality in the higher classes more than made up for this.

1 Alexander’s Offordale Griffin 9-month black with good bone and body. Lovely expression with nice dark eye, good ear carriage, with good reach of neck. Lovely feet and good depth of brisket. Good bend of stifle producing good drive on the move. BPIB
2 Hopkin & Hobbs Rapanooey Red Rose 11 month black. Another lovely puppy dog with nice head and dark eye. Good tail set. Moved well with drive.

1 Baker & Stokes Maddidalli Echo’s Hot Spot liver with good colour. Nice head with good ear placement. Well balanced with good depth of brisket and bend of stifle, moved well.
2 Lamb Dalpetro Digby black with good pigment. Nice head and dark eye. Moved well.
3 Wheaton Buffrey The Last Word At Acinonyx

Post Graduate Dog 4(0)

1 Pace Big Addo liver of good colour. Nice head with good ear carriage. Good depth of brisket. Moved with drive.
2 Green & Sears Boschendal Simply Red At Judally liver of good type. Good bone and body. Nice head and great temperament. Moved well.

1 Hopkin & Hobbs Rapanooey Rasputin black with good bone. Lovely head, with good ear placement. Lovely neck. Good front and stifle, which resulted in good driving movement. Correct tail carriage on the move. Considered for RCC.
2 Hobbs & Whiting Boutonneux Baby Buco Avec Rapanooey black of smaller frame than 1, but still a nice dog. Good pigment. Nice hind angulation, good body moved well.
3 Donnelly Tamilanda Berry Ice Lilly.

OPEN DOG 7(0) Very strong class with plenty of quality.

1 Dunnachie Ch Dvojica Vendetta outstanding black with great ring presence. Good bone and in great condition. Lovely front, good rib and great turn of stifle. Beautiful head and expression, with good dark eye. Moved round the ring effortlessly showing both grace and power. Moved with dive. CC
2 Goff-Leggett Ch Washakie Shoshone Chief JW black of similar type. Good bone and shown in good condition. Nice head and front. Good body and good rear. Moved well. RCC

1 Littler & Kembrey Dalmark The Kir Royale. 8 month liver of good colour. Nice head, needs to mature and gain body. Moved well.
2 Rose Candidals I Believe. Black of 6 months. Nice head with good dark eye. A little erratic on the move. Needs more training.

1 McCarthy Tolkain Gold Star For Kilndandy. Liver with pretty head and expression. Good bone and body with good depth of rib. Nice tail carriage. Moved well BPB.
2 Kembrey Dalmark The Blondie. Liver bitch with nice head and neck. Nice front with good depth of rib. Needs time to settle.

1 Gardner Dvojica Chilli Chutney For Wrendragge JW. Matureliver bitch with lovely head and expression. Good ear carriage. Lovely front and good rib. Good turn of stifle resulting in good driving movement.
2 Neath-Duggan & Baker Buffrey Hanky Panky By Dalleaf. Another lovely bitch. Black with nice head and dark eye. Lovely neck and correct front. Good turn of stifle. Moved well.

1 Dawson Washakie Endless Summer, black with good front and rear angulation. Nicely balanced with good tail carriage. Moved well.
2 Neath-Duggan Buffrey Hey Diddle Diddle, black similar type to 1. Lovely front and depth of rib. Nice head with good dark eye. Moved well. Not much between these two.

OPEN BITCH 8(1) This was the best class of the day with quality oozing from the ring.

1 Finlay Dvojica Black Swan At Dalfin ShCM, Quality black with plenty of presence. One I have admired for some time. Beautiful feminine head, with good dark eye and lovely expression. Well Balanced with lovely front and good depth of rib, strong loin and the best of hind angulation. Moved with drive and reach. Had no hesitation in awarding her CC and BOB.
2 Dunnachie Ch Dvojica Volition, Quality liver with lovely feminine head and good pigment. Again this kennel has produced a balanced bitch with good front, rib and rear angulation. Showed to perfection, moved well. RCC

1 Quayle Ch Cubalibre Spot On, black I have previously awarded a CC to. Still on top form at 7 years. Nicely balance and moved well, Enjoying her day out.
2 Wright Angelic Aphrodite For Millbelle JW ShCM, 10 year old black enjoying her day. Moved well for her age.
3 Ely Wintermine Flamenco.
